INTRO

By signing the registration form, you declare that you are in possession of a regular medical certificate as indicated below in these regulations and also:

  • to have read the regulation and to accept it in full

  • to have the regulatory requirements

  • to know the characteristics of the event and to be in psychophysical conditions suitable for participation

  • to want to adapt to the regulations, to the indications of the Race Direction and of the personnel assigned to the organization

  • to allow the use of their data by the subjects involved in organizing the event in compliance with the GDPR Reg. 2016/679/EU

  • to allow the use of photographs, filmed images, recordings, resulting from its participation in the event for any legitimate purpose, including advertising

 

RACES AND PROGRAM

The program and the races could undergo variations. All participants are invited to check the actual times on the race website a few days before the event. The official program is the one published on the event website.

 

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

FITRI COMPETITIVE DISTANCES (OLYMPIC GOLD, SPRINT GOLD, KIDS AND SUPERSPRINT YOUTH A)

Italian registered athletes (FITRI):
They must be in possession of a regular FITRI LICENSE for competitive triathlon activity (currently valid) and choose the appropriate fee for "LICENSED ATHLETES" during registration.
All licensed athletes must also present a B1 COMPETITIVE MEDICAL CERTIFICATE for TRIATHLON.
NB: card and medical certificate can be uploaded online at the time of registration, or at a later time by logging into ENDU and entering your reserved area.

Italian non-licensed athletes:
During registration, they must request the DAILY LICENSE by choosing the appropriate registration fee for "NOT LICENSED ATHLETES" (the cost of the daily license of € 20.00 for Olympic Gold and Sprint Gold and 5,00€ for Kids and Youth A is included in the registration fee).
This necessarily involves completing the daily membership subscription form DOWNLOADABLE HERE and submitting the ITALIAN B1 COMPETITIVE MEDICAL CERTIFICATE for TRIATHLON (other sports are not accepted).
NB: The subscription form and the medical certificate must be uploaded online at the time of registration, or uploaded at a later time by logging into ENDU and entering your private area. 

Foreign athletes licensed abroad:
They must be in possession of a regular, valid FOREIGN TRIATHLON LICENSE (ITU card) and choose the appropriate quota for "LICENSED ATHLETES" during registration.
NB: the foreign license must be uploaded online at the time of registration, or at a later time by logging into ENDU and entering your reserved area.

Non-licensed foreign athletes:
Non-members from abroad will be able to participate with the DAILY LICENSE ONLY IF able to present an ITALIAN B1 COMPETITIVE MEDICAL CERTIFICATE for TRIATHLON (CERTIFICATES ISSUED ABROAD ARE NOT ACCEPTED!) and the daily license subscription form DOWNLOADABLE HERE using the fee for NON-LICENSED ATHLETES
NB: the documents must be uploaded online at the time of registration, or at a later time by logging into ENDU and entering your reserved area.  

OPEN NON COMPETITIVE DISTANCE (SUPERSPRINT & SPRINT RELAY)

Italian registered athletes (FITRI):
They must be in possession of a regular Italian FITRI LICENSE (currently valid) and choose the appropriate quota for "LICENSED ATHLETES" during registration
All members must also present an Italian B1 COMPETITIVE MEDICAL CERTIFICATE for TRIATHLON.
NB: license and medical certificate can be uploaded online at the time of registration, or at a later time by logging into ENDU and entering your reserved area.

Italian non-registered athletes:
During registration, they must choose the appropriate quota for "NON-LICENSED" (it will be the organization's responsibility to provide for each member to make a license for everyone).
All Italians non-licensed must also present a MEDICAL CERTIFICATE which can be:
- NON-COMPETITIVE;
- COMPETITIVE;
- FOR ACTIVITIES WITH A HIGH CARDIOVASCULAR COMMITMENT;
possibly specific for the triathlon sport.
NB: the medical certificate can be uploaded online at the time of registration, or at a later time by logging into ENDU and entering your reserved area.

Foreign athletes registered abroad:
They must be in possession of a regular and valid FOREIGN LICENSE FOR TRIATHLON OR CYCLING and choose the appropriate quota for "LICENSED ATHLETES" during the registration phase
NB: the foreign card must be uploaded online at the time of registration, or at a later time by logging into ENDU and entering your reserved area. 

Non-registered foreign athletes:
Foreign non-licensed will be able to participate ONLY IF they present the appropriate model of medical certificate for foreigners, DOWNLOADABLE HERE, choose the "NON-LICENSED" fee during registration
NB: the medical certificate can be uploaded online at the time of registration, or at a later time by logging into ENDU and entering your reserved area.

Registration costs include service fees for the registration portal.
For those who choose registration with a daily license (only for competitive fitri distances: Olimpyc Gold, Sprint Gold, Kids and Supersprint Youth A) the additional cost is:
-€ 20.00 for the Olympic Gold and Sprint Gold races
- € 5.00 for KIDS, Youth A and Youth B
The additional cost will be charged at the time of registration, selecting "ATHLETES WITHOUT LICENSE" as a registration method for the race.

 

Registration includes:

  • Official race gadget

  • Any other gadgets of the sponsors

  • Bib number

  • Numbered cup

  • Refreshment (for distances where is provided)

  • Helmet and bike stickers

  • Tattoo

  • Magazine of the event

  • Chip MYSDAM

The PAYMENT METHODS accepted are those foreseen by the ENDU.net registration management system
Please note that registration must be paid by 2 working days, under penalty of exclusion of the same.
The possibility of paying by bank transfer is eliminated starting from 7 days before the closing date for registrations and it will only be possible to pay by credit card for reasons related to the technical timing of payment accreditation.
Finally, it should be remembered that, if a registration is not paid within the established deadlines and in the meantime the next registration fee is triggered, the member is required to pay the next, therefore higher, registration fee in force at the time of the actual payment. .
Presence in the starting list is not guaranteed for those who have not made payments within the established deadlines and who make payments by bank transfer with closed registrations.

 

GROUP REGISTRATIONS

All group registrations (for groups of at least 5 members) take place like individual registrations via the ENDU.net system.
Here you can select the "group" registration method. This function will allow groups of at least 5 participants to benefit from fixed commission costs of €5.00 for the entire group and the possibility of paying by bank transfer

 

REGISTRATION CLOSURE

SUPERSPRINT and SPRINT RELAY: closing no later than May 29th 2024 at 11:59 pm.

OLYMPIC GOLD: closing no later than May 28th, 2024 at 11:59 pm (or upon reaching sold out).

SPRINT, KIDS, SUPERSPRINT YOUTH A: closing no later than May 29th, 2024 at 11:59 pm (or upon reaching sold out).

 

NON PARTICIPATION

In case of non-participation, the registration fee will not be refunded.
It is possible to transfer your registration to another race of the TriO Events circuit or to the next edition by and no later than April 30th, 2024. In this way, the sum paid for registration will be kept valid for another race or for the next edition , with a charge of € 10.00 for secretarial expenses.   • The registration moved to the following year is not automatic, each participant must register independently, using the discount code.
    The registration moved to the following year is not transferable to third parties.
    The registration moved to the following year is not further transferable in the following years.

 

SUBSTITUTIONS AND DISTANCE CHANGES

Substitutions are possible up to 3 days before the competition (May 29th 2024 for Supersprint, Sprint Relay, for Olympic Gold, Sprint Gold, Kids and Supersprint Youth A), in the maximum number of 1 athlete per Clubs, regardless of whether they are men or women, on condition that the substitute has an active membership on the expiry date for registrations.
After this deadline, no substitutions or any request for changes to the starting list will be accepted.
To request the replacement, the member must contact the organization at the email address info@trioevents.it indicating the name of the new member.
It is also possible to change the race distance for a person already registered for the event.
In this case it will be necessary to integrate the payment of the difference if you intend to be moved a longer distance (for example from Sprint to Olympic distance), while if you intend to be registered at a shorter distance the difference will not be refunded. In these cases, therefore, no office costs are applied to avoid further burdens.
In the event that a substitution is requested and the substitute also changes the race distance with respect to the original registration, the cost of €10.00 will be applied + any supplementary fees if the distance is greater. If the distance is less, the difference will not be refunded.

 

TRANSITION AREA

The change area will be specially marked and will be located in Bosco beach, Idroscalo , Milan, Segrate - Circonvallazione Est street (Bosco Sud entrance).
Bicycles will be kept by a special surveillance service within the following times:

  • until 7:00 pm, June 1st, 2024

  • until 6:30 pm, June 2nd, 2024

Bikes can be picked up only through the presentation of the bib number.

 

RACE PACK DISTRIBUTION

Race Office for collecting the bibs is located at the Bosco beach at Idroscalo (Bosco Sud entrance).
For timetables and details, consult the dedicated section of the website: "timetables and programme"
N.B.: the program may be subject to change. It is advisable to check the site before the event to check for any changes.
The bib can also be collected by third parties only upon presentation of a written proxy.
For teams, only the team leader with his own document and the list of his members can present himself.

 

TIME KEEPING AND CONTROLS

The timing will be carried out by an Official Timer SDAM with technology based on the use of "chips".
Each participant will be equipped with a daily chip, which must be returned at the end of the race.
In case of non-return, € 15.00 will be charged. Information and conditions on the use of the chips are published on the SDAM website at www.mysdam.it/info-chip.do
IMPORTANT: failure or incorrect use of the chip will result in the non-inclusion in the ranking and the non-attribution of the time spent

  • For the Kids distance only Minipuppies, Puppies, Beginners and Guys categories are admitted.

  • For the SuperSprint Youth A distance only Youth A category is admitted.

  • For the SuperSprint Open distance all categories are admitted.

  • For the Open Sprint Relay distance the cat. from Youth B included onwards are admitted.

  • For the Olympic Gold distance the cat. Juniors included onwards are admitted

  • For the Sprint Gold distance Youth B included onwards are admitted.

 

AWARDS

For FITRI competitive races (Olympic Gold and Sprint Gold) the first 3 absolute men and women and the first 3 classified for each category will be awarded.
The absolute and category classifications will be drawn up on the basis of the order of arrival and the times recorded with the SDAM system.
The prize money amounts to € 4,000.00 for the Olympic Gold distance and € 2,000.00 for the Sprint Gold distance.

For the KIDS competitions, the first 3 male and female absolute will be awarded.
For the Supersprint competitions, the first 3 male and female absolute will be awarded.

For the OPEN non-competitive races (Supersprint, Sprint Relay and Olympic Relay) there will not be a real award ceremony but awards will be given to the most deserving participants.

 

CANCELLATION OF COMPETITION

In case of adverse weather conditions the race will take place in any case, unless the weather conditions worsen to the point of compromising the safety of the participants.
In the event of cancellation before the start of the event or during the event itself, due to provisions of the competent authorities for certified natural causes and / or causes not dependent on the organizer's strict liability, no refund is provided.
In case of postponement to another date due to adverse weather conditions, the registration fee will not be refunded.
In case of cancellation by the organization due to ministerial provisions aimed at dealing with the COVID-19 Pandemic at least 20 days before the date of the event, the fee will be fully refunded or maintained for another TriO Series event in the year in question. course or in the following year.
In the event of cancellation after this deadline, the organization reserves the right to grant a gift voucher or a discount voucher as a percentage of the amount paid, to be used on other TriO Series events in the current year or the following year.
In case of cancellation of the race due to causes other than the one mentioned above, the organization will respect the provisions of the FITRI Regulations.

 

MANDATORY EQUIPMENT

All participants must wear:

  • The timekeeping CHIP (for the entire race)

  • The helmet (during the cycling race)

  • The bib (in the cycling and running fractions)

  • The bib numbers and references (on helmet, bicycle and body throughout the race)

HEALTH CARE

The use of multiple ambulances with doctors and nurses, fixed First Aid points, one of which is permanent in the finish area, mobile service with motorcycles and specialized personnel is envisaged.

INSURANCE

The event is assured by the organizers' policy stipulated by FITRI and is also covered by the Reale Mutua Assicurazioni supplementary policy

 

RULES

For all that is not covered by this regulation, the current FITRI technical regulation applies.
TriO Eventi S.S.D. to R.L. as organizing company of the event disclaims any responsibility for itself and its collaborators, for accidents or damage to people or things, which may occur before, during and after the event or due to the same. All competitors must observe the rules established by the Highway Code.
In the cycling section the roads will be controlled by traffic with the presence of about 100 volunteers involved in traffic monitoring and intersection control

Personal data processing:
Participation in the Event involves the processing of participants' personal data for the purposes and in the manner described in the Organiser's Privacy Policy.
The data controller is the Organiser.
By registering for the Event, participants confirm that they have read the Organiser's Privacy Policy carefully.

Video-photo footage:
The modalities of conducting the Event foresee the shooting of videos and photos in order to document the event; among the services connected to the registration for the Event, the Organiser also offers all participants the possibility to purchase the photos and videos of the Event in which their image is present.
The video-photographic recordings will affect all the participants equally and will be published and made available on on TriO Events websites and social networks, on other advertising and information material and on the ENDU platform to allow viewing, purchasing (if provided) and sharing by participants and subjects thereby authorised.
The participant acknowledges and accepts that, in order to register and participate in the Event it is necessary to authorise the recording and use of one's own image in the manner and for the purposes indicated in this Regulation, as well as in the Disclaimer and in the Privacy Policy, in consideration of the public nature of the Event, of the object of the services of dissemination and commercialisation of the video-photo shooting of the Event as well as the impossibility to selectively limit the video-photographic recordings.

 

JURY

The Jury is composed of the judges appointed by FITRI. The participant found to be behaving in an unsportsmanlike, uncivilized or anti-ecological manner, as well as incurring the penalties provided for by law and sporting regulations, may not be admitted to subsequent editions

 

COMPLAINTS

Any complaints must be sent exclusively to the Jury in the ways and terms provided for by the FITRI regulation and accompanied by the required deposit

 

VARIATIONS

The organization reserves the right to modify the regulation and the program at any time, in order to guarantee a better organization of the race. Any changes to services, venues and times will be duly communicated to registered athletes by e-mail and will be published on the official website of the race and on social channels.
